This report provides a summary of AML/CFT measures in place in the Eastern Republic of Uruguay (hereinafter Uruguay) at the date of the on-site visit, which took place between May 6 and 17, 2019. The report analyses the level of compliance with the FATF 40 Recommendations and the level of effectiveness of the AML/CTF system and recommends how the system can be strengthened.
